"Do it yourself"-service

We apply "do-it-your-self"-service on some of our products. If a customer can determine what part of a speaker is defect (normally a driver, crossover filter or amp module), you are authorised to detach it and send it to us in exchange for a new part.

 

 

Any repair work is done at your own risk!!

We recommend consulting us before you dismantle anything. All electrical equipment should not be opened due to the risk of electric shock inside amps, CD players, active subwoofers and DSP products that are also technically very advanced.

The return has to be authorised by XTZ prior to shipping, and we will help you find the best shipping quotes using our deals and agreements with different courier companies.

If you are even the slightest unsure, please contact support before dismantling the speaker. You can also get useful information how to determine a defect part.

 

You can of course always choose to ship the complete product back to us for service, please always keep the original packaging material.

 

To simplify servicing and reduce servicing cost XTZ products are built using standard technology, which enables most people dismantling a speaker using regular tools.

 

 

If something breakes

If you cause additional damage to the part when trying to remove it the warranty still applies - as long as we still can see that there has been initial production defects or similar. In other case, the warranty does not apply to additional damage to the product caused by the user.

 

 

Transportation damages

Please always pack the product properly! Unfortunately, shipping damages are very common. If the packaging is not sufficient the courier company will not pay for any damages.

 

Always enclose the purchase receipt and a description of the problem.
